Services

One on One Lessons

I will come to your home and teach you (and preferably everyone in the home) how to train your dog. I will demonstrate how an exercise works and then have everyone practice the same techniques so everyone gets a chance to experience first hand how to train their dog. Everyone in the home is welcome to attend! One on One lessons include written handouts and instructions that explain the exercises practiced in the lesson so owners have material to refer back to or to show a family member who was unable to attend the lesson

The very first lesson is approximately 2 hours and is $225.00. Each lesson thereafter is one hour and is $140.00 per hour.

Walk and Train

These are available in packages only. I will come to your home and work with your dog by myself either in your living room, yard or out for a walk as part of the training plan to help them learn quicker. A package includes 4 “Walk and Trains” followed by a “transfer lesson” which is a regular One on One lesson where I will show you the techniques and hand signals your dog has learned so that you can start using them yourself. A dog will learn something new from the person who trained them but they will not immediately offer those behaviors to a new person who has not trained them. By having me teach you what your dog knows and how to get those behaviors, your dog will much more easily understand how to apply these new skills to you. The dog thinks “Oh! I know this game, I play it with Koby, I can play it with my family too, awesome!” Some behaviors are great for Walk and Trains and some are not, so please inquire about exactly what you are looking for before booking.
All walks must be done within 5 weeks of start date.

A Walk and Train package is $600.00.

Cooperative Care

Cooperative Care is training your dog to be a willing and happy participant in their routine care. Many dogs are sensitive to being touched or handled, even more so in sensitive areas of their body. Procedures like being brushed, dried off with a towel, nail care, inspecting or handling their ears, eyes, mouth, paws, teeth etc. can be stressful and scary for dogs (and most animals). Cooperative care will help your dog be more comfortable and more importantly, happy and willing to have you do these types of necessary activities with them. We will create a careful plan listing your dog’s goals and train your dog to relax during these procedures without the need to force or restrain them in any way so it is a pleasurable experience.

Cooperative Care can be purchased as individual lessons or by packages. One hour C.C. lessons are $140.00. Please inquire if you are interested in C.C. packages.

Phone Consultations

A 40 minute phone consultation to talk about whatever dog related topics you like! I will make recommendations on how to approach the issue and what we can all do to help you and your dog. A completed intake form is required before phone consultations so I can asses everything going on in your dog’s home.

Phone consultations are $50.00.

Virtual Training

As easy as it sounds! Virtual training is a wonderful new practice that many dog trainers are now offering. All basic manners and problem solving solutions can be addressed and trained without the need for an in-person visit. the benefits to this is that it can be done almost anywhere and it minimizes the distractions to the dog where the presence of a trainer may influence regular or expected behaviors.

Virtual lessons are conducted through zoom and are one hour long. Virtual Training lessons are $85.00.

Dog Walking

Even if your dog has 100 trophies from winning training competitions they still need walks! I am available to take your dog for regular runs at local parks often accompanied by some other furry pals!

Walks are a flat rate of $30.00 per outing
